ABOUT THE ARTIST

Emily is a Toronto-based painter, art conservator and art instructor. Outside of her professional arts practice, she serves as the Associate Director at the Toronto School of Art (TSA), sessional faculty at the Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCADU), and is a freelance art restorer. She also runs a lineup of arts & craft workshops and classes out of her studio (EJ Studio).

Emily completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Art History, and a Masters of Art Conservation (Queen’s University) specializing in painting conservation. In addition to these studies, Emily completed a certificate in Traditional Materials and Methods of Painting through San Gemini Preservation Studies.
